ITINERARY

DAY 1: Wednesday - Arrive Lima, Peru
Depart from your origin city to Lima, Peru (Flight NOT included). Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. 
Transfer from Lima airport to hotel not included but may be purchased in advance. See below for details.
Overnight: Lima

DAY 2: Thursday - Arrive Cuzco and Tour of Cuzco
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (Flight and Transfer INCLUDED).  In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour that includes visits to Korikancha (Temple of the Sun), Old Town, Kenko, and Sacsayhuaman
Overnight: Cuzco

DAY 3: Friday - Full Day in Cuzco
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cuzco or perhaps arrange one of the following optional tours (prices listed below):

DAY 4: Saturday - Full Day in Cuzco

DAY 5: Sunday - Fly to Lima and Tour of Lima
Transfer to Cuzco Airport for your return flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (Flight and Transfer INCLUDED).
This afternoon, enjoy a tour of Lima, Peru's capital city, and largest cultural and financial center. See 2000 years of indigenous and colonial heritage firsthand on this tour of Peru's capital city. Visit Lima's historical center, including Plaza Mayor, City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace. Afterward, visit Casa Luna, where you will be welcomed into the homes of craftsmen, giving you the opportunity to view a collection of unique Nativity scenes. Lastly, enjoy a chance to learn about fine Peruvian craftsmanship in the workshop of one of Lima's top goldsmiths

DAY 6: Monday - Farewell Dinner & Folklore Show in Lima
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Lima. Perhaps arrange the optional tour to Barranco & Larco Herrera Museum. This evening, delight in a farewell dinner and show, featuring a mixture of authentic Peruvian dances

DAY 7: Tuesday - Depart Lima
Transfer to the airport in Lima for your departure flight home (Flight NOT included).

The following options may be purchased as part of this package:

 - Transfers from Lima airport to hotel upon arrival and from hotel to Lima airport on return are an additional $42.00 per person, each way or $84.00 roundtrip.

 - Hotel This package is based on hotel stays at a combination of the following hotels based on availability (Hotels may not be requested):  Hotel Monte Real (LIMA), Hotel Mariel (LIMA), Mabey Palacio Imperial Hotel (CUZCO) and El Puma Hotel (CUZCO).
High bidder may upgrade their entire package for an additional $450.00 per person to the following 5 Star Hotels: Crowne Plaza (LIMA) and Libertador Palacio del Inca Cuzco  (CUZCO).

Machu Picchu (Backpacker Train) Day #3
Enjoy a full day tour to Machu Picchu, lost city of the Incas. Transfer to Ollanta train station for the Orient Express' Backpacker train service to Machu Picchu, where you will begin your guided tour of the marvelous citadel. Visit the main plaza, the royal quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower, the sacred Sun Dial and burial grounds. Return to Cuzco in the evening.

Machu Picchu (Hiram Bingham Train) Day #3 
Enjoy a full day tour to Machu Picchu, lost city of the Incas. Roam the ancient quarters dating to the 16th and 17th centuries. Then, continue to a local restaurant to enjoy dinner including Peruvian specialties and a folklore show. Pick up and drop off at hotel.

Pisac Market & Ollantaytambo Day #4 
Travel to the Urubamba valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. The site was built just as the Spaniards arrived, and evidence of how it was constructed is still visible. Stroll through the quaint streets of the town before proceeding to a nice hostelry for lunch. Continue to Pisac for an opportunity to bargain with vendors at the handicraft market. See a magnificent view of the Urubamba valley along the way.

Barranco & Larco Herrera Museum Day #6 
This morning, visit the Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, an 18th-century Colonial style structure which houses the world's largest private collection of pre-Columbian art. Among the museum's most prized collections are the Mochica ceramics, with an estimated 55,000 clay pots on show, and a world-record holding textile featuring 398 threads per inch. Before returning to your hotel, enjoy time to stroll the stalls of a Peruvian handicraft market nearby.
