General Description

There's never been a cruise ship like this. Enjoy one-of-a-kind features like an ice-skating rink, the Royal Promenade and a rock-climbing wall. There was only one way to accommodate all of these innovative ideas. We built a bigger cruise ship. The 138,000-ton, 3,114-guest Explorer of the Seas offers more space for every guest - plus enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and exceptional recreational facilities. This cruise ship is so high-tech; it even features the University of Miami Ocean Lab, a state-of-the-art oceanographic and atmospheric science lab.

Activities

Enough Options to Make Anyone Indecisive! From sunrise to sunset and around every corner, there's something exciting for you to do on a Royal Caribbean vacation. How about a workout or a relaxing massage? Better yet, try your luck at Caribbean Stud Poker, attend an art auction, or turn it on dancing in a nightclub. There are even supervised activities for kids. And on land, we offer optional shore excursions for everything from glacier trekking in Alaska to wine tasting in Tuscany. Best of all, every experience is delivered with our unique Gold Anchor Service.

Entertainment

The gorgeous view isn't the only thing that will dazzle you onboard our cruise ships. See a contemporary musical stage production or catch a live band. Some guests want to sit back, relax and be entertained while others want to join in on the action. Well, there's something for everyone, every day of the week. In fact, there's always so much going on, you may find the hardest decision is choosing what to do first. Feeling Lucky? We consider our Casino Royale to be a little bit of Vegas, a little bit of Monte Carlo and a lot of Royal Caribbean fun. We've got games for all levels of players. There are onboard lessons for novice players and tournaments for the more advanced. Casino Royale is open whenever you are sailing, so stop in and try your luck!

Dining

Dining on our cruise ships is as exciting as every other aspect of life onboard. There's so much to choose from that you won't know where to start. From the delicious offerings in our main dining room, to the convenience of the Windjammer Cafı, we have a dining experience for every mood. In addition to our extensive specialty menus, all our cruise ships also offer low-fat ShipShape Day Spa menus, kids' menus, and, if you arrange in advance, kosher menus.
