Enjoy the romance and tropical surrounding of Bigsand. Our 12-room hotel borders on a soft white sandy beach, with pristine coral reefs just off shore. Located in the Richmond Bay area, just a mile from Clifton, the capitol of Union Island, Bigsand Hotel offers you the perfect setting for your dream vacation in paradise. Whether you're into water sports, like to explore the majestic inland, make excursions to the neighboring islands or just want to relax and enjoy the Caribbean tranquility, we can certainly make your holidays complete and memorable. Bigsand Hotel offers 8 deluxe suites and 2 honeymoon suites, individually designed ocean-view rooms, located just a few steps from the waterline. These accommodations offer a private beachfront balcony, a spacious living room, a separate bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with bath or shower. Activities: To pamper our guests, we provide free sea canoes, snorkeling equipment and bowls. For an additional costs, you can go scuba diving, water-skiing, fishing, snorkeling trips to other islands, visits to Tobago Cays and more. Bigsand Hotel also occasional organizes food feasts on the barbecue pit by the beach with soft entertainment by local artists in the evenings. Dining: Our culinary team with local and Belgian roots offers you that perfect match: French and Belgian cuisine with a Creole final touch. Fish and lobster (when in season) are brought fresh from the fisherman in the villages, while local herbs, vegetables and fruits are selected at the local market or brought in from the main island. We also produce fresh vegetables and some fruits in our own garden. We can also provide a picnic basket for those exploring Union Island. The bar is open all day long for cocktails and tropical delights. On top of your culinary enjoyment, you will also enjoy the splendid beach view with the sound of the whispering waves in the background.
